In a spectacular come back and a fitting reply to the critics,France beat Spain 3-1 to set up a repeat of the 1998 finals against Brazil in the quarter final of this edition.David Villa scored with a penalty in the 27th minute to give Spain the lead which was soon cancelled out by a brilliant goal from Frank Riberi.Viera scored of a freekick in the 83rd minute as Zinadine Zidane added a third in injury time to announce to the world that France is not done yet.
